What did you do...

What did you do to advance Liberty today?

  1. I discovered that my insurance agent was anti-2nd Amendment (virulently) and an Obama supporter and contributor. I pulled all of my insurance policies (several houses and multiple cars, as well as business accounts) and gave my business to another company with an agent more patriotic. Small gesture in terms of the big picture, but a start, nonetheless. I'm busy trying to ascertain the politics of my various business associates and suppliers so I can direct my resources to those that support liberty and the Constitution, instead of ultimately "paying my executioners".

  2. Anon: Very cool. That is exactly the peaceful political protest that can work if enough people do it. Even if nobody else does it, you get the satisfaction of having made your point. This war is a One Man Ruckus, each of us doing everything we can, as individuals, to muck up their program.

I have advocated in my book that employers fire Leftists and Establishment employees. Why give a payroll check to some idiot who will simply vote to raise your business costs?

Here is a link from Denninger that takes it even further: http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=182129

  3. I carried a prohibited item to a state where it's illegal for me to do so. I've been doing it for months. Fuck their laws. Better to be judge by 12, etc etc etc etc...

Earlier this week, I tripped a burglar alarm at a delivery site because, unbeknownst to me, a customer set the alarm improperly. Subsequently, I was approached by several county and municipal police officers investigating the silent alarm call.

I played it like I was a frightened sheep and that they surprised me and that I was glad to see them because it was dark and scary out!

They would have shit themselves(and probably tasered me...or worse)had they known I was holding a concealed prohibited item.

They asked for ID the first time, the second time they said, "I think you're probably OK," and they let me go without so much as a proning out or curb-stomping.

I know it's not much, but I feel like such a rebel and militant.
