WSJ: Paul's lead in Iowa is genuine

The Wall Street Journal dug into Congressman Paul's support base and found it is legit, rather than the gimmicks claimed by most Establishment R's. 

While I use the Left/Right linear spectrum for the ease of discussing politics, I have explained many times that the political spectrum is much more like a Yin & Yang sphere - if you travel far enough to the Right, you'll end up sharing ground with some issues on the Left.

That is where Ron Paul is succeeding this cycle.  Occupy folks stand with him in his disgust of Wall Street Banksterism, Libertarians call Ron Paul their own, and large swaths of general R voters do not find him to be a slick poster boy, like Mitt Romney.

The Establishment despises his Foreign Policy positions, which mirror General Washington's. 

Now the question is simply: How far will the Establishment go to defeat Ron Paul.
