Holly and I have encountered this effect during our legal case against ServiceMagic. We can't see into the minds of the other side, and we are not lawyers, so the "truth" of their actions and intent is hidden within the Black Hole, and we are left to decipher reality as best as we can by studying the Event Horizon and the actions upon those things we can see.
When you look at the deeds and actions taken by the Administration it should be obvious even to an objective observer that every action taken has had a detrimental effect on the ideal of America, and the ability of America to function mechanically.
True Believers of the Left will argue that the actions of the Administration are Good Faith acts based on ideologic ideals, in an effort to make America stronger.
True Believers of America and Liberty must conclude that every action being taken is a deliberate effort to weaken and ultimately destroy America.
I stand with the latter. One need not be a political animal to recognize when deliberate harm is being inflicted by policy.

Rather than black holes, you should be thinking about Black Swans- highly improbably events that you can't see coming, but when they do they have a huge impact, and afterwards people make up a narrative that tries to explain the fundamentally unexplainable event. They are coming, and we never know what seemingly insignificant event will trigger them, or where they will lead. You or I might even trigger one by our actions.
