Wow, what an idiot. Most liberal and moderate politicians probably agree with that sentiment. Thing is, that is the only reason they have a job and the only reason we have been kept at bay this long. If you think removing or restricting the 2nd Amendment MIGHT start a war. It would be an all out guarantee if you suspended the constitution.
This 'proffessor' is very slick the way he interweaves the Communist fallacy of 'relevancy' and 'dead people' into the Constitution, using the examples of the Electoral College (brilliant design, by the way, if the system is administered properly (rescision of the 17th Amendment, etc)) and the electorate determining if 'gun control is right for our country'....
These folks are clearling 'stacking tolerances' by the purposeful forwarding of the 'narrative' that will further the progress of their agenda.
They also clearly do not understand the law of unintended consequences, nor the plain fact that if the Constitution doesn't protect us, it doesn't protect them, either.
The point I noticed most was that he only wanted to ignore the parts he, and his cronies, don't like. Is it really so hard to believe now that this country is dying a slow death against the liberal policy makers and their army of media. Our last hope before all out war is the week kneed "conservatives" who are trying to tread water and rebuild their good old boy network for the next election. I am just in awe of the short sighted view, we aren't going to have another election if they push the American people into a corner.
This is why there should never be an educator paid with a public dollar.
We can leave whether there should be public dollars for another day. Going back to ancient Egypt, almost all evil was ultimately caused by philosophers on the dole.
