There are times when Life seems to throw everything it's got at you, and doesn't give a damn if you survive or not. There are times when it seems even Mother Nature wants a piece of you. In such times phrases like "Keep your chin up" or "Be strong" don't do much.
What does help is the quiet knowledge that people are around who stand ready to be there if you need them.
Please go to Leslie's place. Read her post. It doesn't even come close to explaining all that the woman has swirling in her life right now, but there is enough in the post to let you know that she would benefit simply by knowing she isn't alone.
