III Gun Org: Suggestions

**UPDATE** What would YOU like to see a pro-2A organization do if you were a member?

Politicians are afraid of NRA because of the money they can bring to bear at election cycles.

Petitions do not work.  Pleas to your politicians do not work.  Appeals to the Constitution and Natural Rights do not work.

What would YOU like your 2A group do?

For the record, I am not interested in investing energy into an organization that plays by the old rules - either this is in-their-face, or someone else can do it.

~~

Below the general consensus agreed that the III should spearhead a genuine pro 2A organization.

The hard line:  "...shall not be infringed..."

No negotiating.  No compromises.

Full repeal of '34, '68, and every other infringement on the books, federally and in every state.

How do we get there without making the same mistakes made by NRA, SAF, GOA, JPFO, et al?

I have a few ideas - but I tend to push the line hard.  So, I'd like to have you offer some suggestions that you'd like your 2A organization engage.

Give-away a few Hi Point pistols to low-income single mothers?

Set up shop in Wyoming or Montana and put their Firearms Freedom Acts to the test?

From Denninger: Here.

Weigh-in, please....

  1. I guess it all depends if people are ready to defend there beliefs with their lives...If we test anyone of those it will come to that or rot in prison while the kangaroo kourts try and figure out our God given rights...I for one am not going to prison...

  2. Its simple. No compromise. No closed door talks. No meetings at all unless it is them backing up. No support for officials that have not been fully vetted and publicly stated where they stand, even if it means they stand with gov declared criminals. No permanent leadership. No election of leadership that has skeletons. Doesnt mean they have to be spotless, but they must be immune to coercive means. Ill think on this.
Also the gun shop is an excellent idea. I would like to see how far those states will actually go to keep their 10th ammendment rights and protect their citizens. And would be a good icebreaker for your III 300 if thats what it came to.

  4. Ive tried to tell people basically the same thing as whats in denningers peice and it comes down to people cannot fathom liberty. They think you are a wackjob for saying that I am me and nobodies bitch. No matter how you try to explain true liberty im looked at like i have three heads because I dont beleive the government has any authority over me except what I grant it. I think to myself why do people not even know about freedom? And then i realize I dont even hear anyone say "its a free country" anymore.

  5. Politicians take simple statements and convolute them into some complex matrix of bullshit that baffle most people; hence the wool is easily pulled over the eyes. Denninger simplifies the already simple concept layed out in our Constitution: it should be made into a book called The Constitution for Dummies. And it should be mandatory reading for EVERYONE.
A house statesman from PA named Daryl Metcalfe, told of a meeting he had with several collegues. They were debating gun control and the constitution came up. He asked one of the gentlemen, who was anti-gun, if he had ever read the constitution. His answer was no. Dumbfounded, he asked the gentleman again, thinking he hadn't heard him correctly. His answer was again, no. Unbelievable.
The point being is that these people, who are elected, whether it being local state or federal including LE, take an oath to uphold & defend the U.S. Constitution and have not a clue what the hell is in it or what it says and are enforcing laws or legislating from what foundation. I would wager that there are a large percentage in this boat.

    1. unfortunately, the same ignorance is prevelant among the leo population in America - no idea what it actually says nor how their "oath" relates... sad day

  6. to be recoginzed as different(1) and seriously dedicated to "... shall not be infringed..."(2) there must be a defining attribute(s)... there must be no doubt left in the mind of even the most casual viewer that the III Patriot's Arms Protection Group is exatly that...

a handgun give-away is a good starter... single mom, NOT on the statist dole, who demonstrates her interest in keeping and bearing arms yet hasn't the means to reach the goal of obtaining the minimum level of protection for herself and her kids... this may have to include basic training in the use, cleaning and storage of said weapon and minimal supply of ammo... let's not forget the elderly in this kind of effort either...
