  2. Sorry, that just makes me bitter. Before all this BS started I was paying $16.99 for a 500 rnd brick of .22lr.

  3. My thoughts exactly Miss V! (Hind sight is 20/20... but I should have purchased more than I did at those "cheap" prices).

I bought most of my Federal 500 bulk packs when they were 9.00 and some change. I remember they went up to 11.00, then 16.00, then finally 18.00 and change Dec. 12, then went to heck after that.

“There has been too much violence. Too much pain. But I have an honorable
compromise. Just walk away. Give me your pump, the oil, the gasoline,
and the whole compound, and I’ll spare your lives. Just walk away and
we’ll give you a safe passageway in the wastelands. Just walk away and
there will be an end to the horror”

  9. In regards to the use of .22 as a 'wetwork' cartridge, consider this (and its in stock!)

    http://www.sgammo.com/product/aguila/500-round-brick-22-lr-super-colibri-powderless-cartridge-primer-fired-20-grain-bullet

20 grain bullet weight, 500 FPS, quiet, does not work in semi-automatic .22 firearms.

Might be useful. I'll leave it at that.

  10. Local WalMart had 2 pallets of Winchester in 333 bulk boxes, limit 3 boxes. Came to $53.56 with IL taxes. Put out 1 pallet Thursday morning, and 1 Saturday morning. Lasted about 24 Hours each. You have to go by the ammo counter every chance you get to score some.
