Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others.
Never confuse ends with means.
The end?
Individual freedom, with the Jeffersonian “Rightful Liberty” offset of the next chap’s equal freedoms.
The means?
Any means necessary.
To include restoration, followed by secession – if it achieves the end.
The end is the thing.
