Citadel

The Citadel Project is a big, complex endeavor with countless moving parts.

On top of everything we originally set out to accomplish, we have now added the interest from Texas to consider a location on their Gulf Coast.  We have several top-shelf people working tirelessly on the project, we are making strong headway, and we are all proud that we have not only survived the attempted assassination attempts from some people, but prevailed.

Next week a significant meeting takes place in Washington DC among several members of the projects and major international media.  It will not be an interview for the public, we have promised our first public interview to another crew.  The meeting next week involves much more than a single interview.  What is interesting is that we never set out to be in the spotlight - yet here it is.  These talks may prove beneficial to both sides, or not.  Something may come of the discussions, or not.  Either way, the projects continue forward.

Today is March 1 - Spring hits in another 20 days and weather at the III location in Idaho will break at some point in the near future and we will begin developing to site.  Remember that the current site is nothing more than a foothold, a place to call Home as the project evolves, as III Arms ramps up into production, and as we scout for locations for our final, larger home in the Redoubt.  But at the same time we will be moving forward with considerations for the Texas coast.

To say we are all busy is a significant understatement.  Many of us are exhausted.  I promise you that these projects consume nearly every waking hour for all of us, and we all have day-jobs to pay the bills.  It is going to get even worse for Miller in the very, very near future as production is, literally, beginning in days or weeks, not months.  Not only does he have to manage that reality, he has a Significant Other, a full-time job, he runs blogs and FB pages for the projects, handles email, and has to show up at places like Tulsa for shows.

What you are reading is not a complaint - I promise you I have not heard one single complaint from one single person involved in any aspect of these projects.  We are all working toward something that is so much larger than our personal lives, and we all understand that if we don't do it, it won't get done.  And the emails from many of you who support the project, the purchases you make at III Gear, the orders you've places at III Arms, the reservations at the Citadel, every single bit of that support is what keeps us going.

We are working for Liberty, and not just our own.

Just before I left Tulsa I posted that you'd soon notice a shift on this blog.  I have no more time, patience or tolerance for anyone who is in our way.  I am taking it upon myself to clear the way for people like Miller and H and VJ and Bonnie Gadsden and so many others who are working behind the scenes.  I'll be the guy meeting the people who try to destroy this project, and I'll be the guy bitch-slapping them in return for their efforts to do us harm.  You may not like where I go or what I do, but for this project to succeed, someone has to handle the garbage - and I elect myself.  Some of you will think I am mean.  Some of you may decide to walk another path.  Do what you have to do.  No, I won't be telegraphing my moves here online, but I promise you'll begin to hear the squealing of pigs soon.  This project represents Liberty for many thousands of families to whom I have a personal Obligation, and in the larger scheme of the fight for Liberty, if we succeed, we can give confidence to every single Patriot out there that Liberty has a chance to prevail.  I will not permit a few petty, self-loathing, fouled Souls to take free shots at these projects and the fine Patriots involved.

As your college professors told you many times: You'll see this again.

'nuff said on that.

H and I intend to spend a big chunk of our summer either in Idaho on the III site, or shuttling back and forth to ensure that everything goes as it should.  We have contacts on the ground that are friendly to us, and we'll be the boots on the ground to help win hearts and minds.  Miller will be building III Arms.  IIIGear is going to hire employees so that we can get away from the delays in shipping, and we will be adding more selection so that you can fly your III Gear in all shapes and sizes and let the world know that it will be Liberty, or Death.  There is nothing in the middle for true Patriots.  VJ and others will be working on approving our first Citadel residents, and keeping that machinery running.  People like David and Chris at CADD have been a HUGE benefit for us every step of the way, and there are many, many like them.  I won't use their names, because many prefer anonymity - and who can blame them given the shit being shovelled by the likes of Pinson, Key West, just outside of Minneapolis, and elsewhere.

Here are a few things we need, and I hope we have someone in this audience can bring their professional or hobby skills to the table and help us out.

We need a solution for III Arms barrels.  Anybody out there got the skills, the machines, the extra capacity, the old-school talent to hand rifle a barrel?  Anyone got a barrel drill they don't want/need any longer?  Let me know and I'll put you together with Miller.

We need someone with the skills to build 2 architectural models based on our concepts - these need to be table-top models for Idaho and Texas.  These things are desperately needed right now, but simply not in the budget.

Because of a Patriot we have springs being made for Miller.  We also have access to small parts (such as triggers, lower kits, etc).

Because of another Patriot we will be offering a line of Made in the USA canvas gear under the IIIGear label.

We need someone who can work with Miller to help with G-Code and getting all the details perfect for the CNC he's running - when the world gets a look at our first III Arms AR Lower you'll get it - this is NOT some "buy a bunch of off-the-shelf parts and slap ARs and 1911s together" - kind of operation.  Miller is a Craftsman.

We could use a tractor with a front bucket and a backhoe on the rear for the Idaho site, if anyone has something they can donate.  I know, that's a big one.

Any Patriots in Texas with machinist skills and a few machines who want to be part of the Texas Citadel?  Let me know and we'll see what we can work out...

I'm not going to be shy about asking for help when we need it, folks.  As you all know this is a grass-roots project.  We do NOT have a big developer behind us, we do NOT have big corporations underwriting everything.  We are all doing this on our own.

That's how it should be - Americans who want something who just get to work and go get it.

  3. Most of the model building has gone to 3D autocad. I used to work with them years ago.

  4. Sign me up for Idaho as well...I can go whenever needed. Can bring a generator, power tools/table saw, hand tools, camping supplies, cookout gear, etc. Plan on bringing my camper as well and setting up on the III land or a nearby campground. Willing to do anything to help...although my primary expertise (35 years as an intelligence officer) isn't called for (at this time).
