Enemies of Liberty are ruthless. To own your Liberty, you'd better come harder than your enemies..

Where do you stand?

I asked a similar question many months ago, and Alan brought it up at lunch when we met this week.

Just for the record, I consider the King's Mountain experience among the best of my time in this community.  I was a mess with allergies - puffy, swollen, teary eyes, but so very proud to stand with the men and woman who were present.

His question: Is any Patriot ready and willing to go to New York, Maryland, Colorado, California, or elsewhere in an effort to support Patriots who live in those states now under the oppression of unconstitutional aggression.

It is a good question.  I have been thinking about it.

At the moment, I think the burden rests upon the shoulders of the people currently encumbered.  But I may change my mind and determine  it is in our best interest to kit-up and travel into the teeth of the monster.

I am torn because if the people under direct attack will not defend themselves why should I risk for them?

We are back to Mister Franklin: Either we will hang together, or certainly individually.

What say you?

  1. I think yes but we have to know where and when so that comes down to the people of those states having the cojones to let other patriots know who they are and then be willing to face the devil and out fiddle him with a little help from his band...

  2. We have a pretty good base of Patriots here in inland California - somewhat disorganized, but we are here.
What we need from others is moral and logistical support when the time comes. A few good fighters wouldn't hurt, but I do believe that we can isolate the liberals on the coast and hurt them badly. After all, we control their food that is grown here and most importantly, their water. Remember, California's water supply comes from the Sierra Nevada. Every damned bit of it. Along with that is their electrical supply coming from hydroelectric dams, also in the foothills of the Sierras.
When the shit comes down, a huge part of them will take each other out, saving us the trouble. Refugees from the coastal cities will face Freedom Forces bent on protecting OUR water and food that is grown on this side of the coastal mountains.
You also have to remember that inland Californians are for the most part staunchly conservative - we have our guns and will not surrender them.
California Freedom Fighters won't be in as bad a situation as most think. We've been planning for such a scenario for years.

God I love it when people do more than "talk" about preparing.

  3. they must be willing to risk their life before i'm willing to risk mine for them. if they stand up, and come under fire, thats my trigger event. the sheeple of boston applaud the wolves for tramping all over them. i have no respect for them, but they did so because they were disarmed long ago, now dependant on the state. other states' people need to see and learn what comes from such. i doubt the people here outside of the cesspools of hampton roads and richmond would submit to such disrespect.

  4. In the quest for Liberty might not we have to help our complacent countrymen to prevent the socialists from rending our country/fellowship/resolve. Not all in those states are socialists. There are many good people in Colorado, tied there by their family history, and unable to leave and outvoted/outnumbered.

  5. Here in NY we are getting organized. It is painfully slow though. We had Stewart Rhodes speak in Sullivan County yesterday. We have the support of the Sheriff and the Under Sheriff but not the full support of the legislature. The CountyLegislature has passed a resolution condemning the NYSAFE Act. Our problems politically stem from the lower counties, Westchester out to the tip of Long Island, they out number the rest of the state when it comes to voting and they always seem to vote socialist. Nanny Bloomburg does his part to destroy the rest of the state by shipping his Free Shit Crowd out to the poorer counties which over-whelms our systems and polluts our voting.

On the other side, we control the water and food and a goodly portion of the transportation grid. We are mostly comfortable in the out of doors and spend a lot of time there. We have a lot of folks who have served in the military and shooting is a way of life here. We are at the eastern edge of the Catskills and as you head west and north they are even better prepared.

What we could use is a lot of support and an outside plan to provide supplies when the SHTF. We are already feeling the pinch on ammo and magazines, we have been under a 10 rd max ban since 1994.

  6. Alan always asks great questions. Ignoring for the moment any baggage that might come in with the word "Patriot," here's my answer, Alan: Yes, on two conditions...he not be a thug and it be a win.

Not being a thug is easy...he/she can't be a person who believes in getting value--any value--from another person forcefully. Other than that, I don't give a hoot who he is, what he does or what he believes.

Being a win is easy too...a clear, just cause MUST be won, whatever it takes. Unattainable objectives are for the birds. If losing were an option on such matters, I might've joined the Libertarian Party in the '80s, and I didn't. CA likes to write, "by any means necessary." Ends CAN justify means, but only when those ends are right...which here means clear, just and attainable.

My self-defense is MY obligation. That's why it's called SELF-defense, duh. If I'm living in a world where the next guy's self-defense is subject to tyrannical prohibition, then that means mine is too. So suddenly his inability to defend himself as he sees fit, IS my problem. For me, it's quite that simple.

  7. The good sheep (oops, "people") of New York, Maryland, Colorado, California, or elsewhere would chant "USA!, USA!" just as Boston did after theit Rights were trampled.

Pick you A/O and become an EXPERT in every area. You wouldn't go to China to rid the good sheep, (oops again, "people") of Communism now would you?

    1. My big thing has always been 'DO your recons!!!' Know your AO, find out where the pinch points are, prepare to block them, prepare to ambush. Know where every cell phone tower is, every electrical substation, every big tree (painfully rare here) that can be dropped to block a route.
Be able to travel off the beaten path, know your routes be they alleys or country roads.
Know your enemy and know where they live.

  8. for now, they will not go after anyone they would soon regret having gone after... ratherm they will prey on those who, in their despicable opinion, "do not deserve to own firearms" meaning those who have mental issues in their past... i still believe that the kenyan knows he doesn't have the ability to mount an all-out action against those of us whom he knows would fight back... he has begun a war of attrition against us... as for heir nanny gloomberg, he's trying to push for power and he will err greatly...

    all this is imvho

  9. I think it's important to understand that the Britsh strategy for winning the war in 1780 was to lay seige to and capture Charleston, subdue South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia while recruiting loyalists to augment their army. Cornwallis was to ultimately link up with Clinton at the Chesapeake then finish off the already weak northern Continental Army.

However, certain strong militia leaders took it upon themselves (the southern Continental Army was completely destroyed) to come together and attack Cornwallis' flank defended by Major Ferguson. The army assembled came from Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, and the eastern parts of what would later be Kentucky and Tennessee.

They struck the enemy at King's Mountain in South Carolina and destroyed the army protecting the flank of the British. While the battle itself did not win the war, it arguably set the stage for final victory.

Thank God for those decisive men. Men willing to set aside differences and petty jealousies and come together to destroy a clear and present danger.

History always repeats itself. Never exactly, but similar enough for discerning students to recognize and understand.

So how far will the enemy be allowed to advance? Into North Carolina? Through Virginia to the Chesapeake? Or should he be stopped in South Carolina before he conquers, recruits and strengthens? Are there enough men in South Carolina to stop the advance there? Or should an army be assembled to meet the threat?

    Just something to think about.

    1. it's my guess that the missing ingredient is the impetus, the catalyst, that spark-producing event or action which will finally ignite the fires of Restoration... the where and when will automatically be answered...

this is assuredly no longer an issue of "if" but rather "who's first"...

today, another school shooting, a harder push from tptb to strip us of our rights...

it's coming as surely as i sit here and breathe

  10. Laboratories of Democracy, if you can't get enough people together to get the laws changed, vote with your feet.

The anti 2A people are primarily the dependent, big government type, while the pro 2A people are primarily the independent, small government type. If the pro 2A crowd packed up and left New York, it would collapse under it's own weight, which is what needs to happen.

    1. So you're saying individuals should give up their homes and leave from where they may have been born, want to live, and have the right to live.

Let's say we all do that. How long do you think it would be before we would be faced with the same problem? Where you gonna run to then?

    2. California is my home - I was born here, I've made a life here. I will stay here and fight for it. If I die doing so, so be it. If I live liberating it, again, so be it. No regrets either way, man.
Besides, why would I run to the sound of the guns after relocating when they're going to be right outside my door if I stay?
