Why voting is not a viable means of course correction...

When people put themselves before all others, they are no longer capable of being part of a civilized and prudent society.  When "Me-First" is their default and intractable position, you do not have a fellow citizen, you have a cancer cell swimming in the bloodstream of society.  And when you have too many cancer cells...

The nurse in Maine is one example.  She went to treat Ebola patients in Africa, then came home.  She refuses to quarantine herself.  This is not about Ebola - this is about a woman who willingly subjected herself to a potentially deadly situation (which is her choice) but then behaves in such a manner that her neighbors may suffer for her choice.  Her neighbors did not choose to risk their lives with Ebola - but this woman is forcing that risk upon them with her selfish behavior.

I have no obligation to risk being exposed to Ebola (or anything else that may kill me) simply because my neighbor chooses to take those risks.  Forcing me into a position where I must face those risks simply because my neighbor refuses to stay home and play monopoly for 3 weeks invokes my Natural Law Right to Self Defense.

Sorry, but I have no obligation to suffer or die just because you are stupid and selfish.

The second example is a demonstration of true Evil: "Post-Birth Abortions" are acceptable to a growing minority of people.  I will not even bother to articulate how or why taking the life of a baby or child up to kindergarten age is Evil.  Like porn, you know it when you see it.  And if you don't see it, I can't help you.

An overwhelming majority of people in America are fouled and diseased in their hearts.  You do not need to murder a 4-year-old to be Evil.  You can simply choose to tolerate it in your society.

We tolerate far too much Stupid and Evil, and it is the means by which America has committed suicide.

These people vote.

That is why voting will not move our point of impact one inch, or delay it by one minute.  We are outrageously outnumbered...for now.

  1. An excellent commentary on the liberal filth that is our culture, and I respect and share your passion. I must disagree re: voting, and hope you'll reconsider.

Allow me to be as selfish as the ebola nurse: Your opinion is important to me and I'd like it reflected in the election results.

    1. I agree 100% that we should all vote - it is the legitimate and peaceful option on the table. I simply have no faith that it will work. Why recommend that everyone vote if I don't think it will work? Because when push comes to shove, having endured that necessary fail is one more claim upon the moral high ground.

    2. Mark Twain said it best: "if voting made a difference, they wouldn't allow us to do it"
I'll vote, because if I don't, I lose the high ground of anger at the result - even though in the more than 4 decades of eligibility, it has been a downhill slide...
and I know that our votes will soon be cast using different "voting machines"... s f

  2. I read the same article and found this below: "“While the number of students who believe it is OK with killing children after birth is growing, the number of students who accept that life beings at conception is also growing, and that is growing at a larger and faster rate than those who accept infanticide,” Garza said." That being said and on another note, I must say that I agree with the students on the post birth abortion. Any time one of their parents need one, they can call me and I will gladly oblige them.

  3. K, in response to your reply on voting. People sometimes lose sight of all that our founding father's endured before taking up arms. They spent over a decade attempting to redress their grievances. The Boston massacre was in 1770 and still they continued on for another six years within the legal framework. I agree with you 100% on the moral high ground.

  4. Voting legitimizes the system which has been broken for decades. None but criminals remain. I will vote when it comes time with the other box.

  5. I dont see the moral high ground by voting...The fact is we have taken and been subjective to a lot more than the founding fathers put up with...Lets put it in simpler terms they would of already been at war...I see voting as 180 from moral high ground because all its doing is letting us make excuse that we still have voting so we wont have to take up the cartridge box...I wonder at what point we say votings not working when its a 100% for either party 90%, 80%...In all reality voting hasnt worked for quite some time now because we havent been able to have more freedom...Sure we gain a little here lose a little there but overall we are sliding down into the abyss of Tyranny...The pot of water keeps heating up...How many times do we have to see failure by voting before we say enoughs enough...All voting is at this point in the card game is folding so maybe we can be dealt a better hand in the future...Problem is the house keeps winning and we sit here saying deal me another...We have to gain the courage to get up out of that chair and say nope not playing your game anymore...Im not going to play with you cheats, liars, con artists, thieves, shysters etc anymore...Until we do that the house will keep winning taking from us our lives, liberty, and our pursuit of happiness...So go ahead ask them to deal you another hand but for me Im done with voting...

  6. "We have to gain the courage to get up out of that chair and say nope not playing your game anymore."

That's the whole thing, right there. Nothing happens till then, and everything happens after. K's worried about numbers, but how many sheeple does it take to equal one thinking person? If numbers mattered, fruitflies would rule the world.

Voting's immoral anyway, since it's an agreement that the mob should decide on who rules and who should get ruled. Maybe it would be okay in a genuine Constitutional Republic with a Bill of Rights, but none of those are available currently. Gotta deal with the world as it is.

BTW lineman, you took offense at my getting into your business about something or other on a closed thread, but that comment wasn't to you, so it was a misunderstanding. I don't get into other people's business. I figure they can make it or break it on their own...or with whomever they choose, of course. Forward.

  7. Voting is not immoral, it is an act attempting to build a consensus on who we choose to do X or Y in our names. It is a means of civilized decision-taking, when not corrupted. When it is corrupted, as we have now, nobody says you have to vote for the names on the ballot.

But the act itself is a method for reasonable men to live together.

    1. I concur on voting when its not a cesspool...But voting now is a waste if you vote for anyone but the two main parties and evil if you vote for the two main parties...So hence my not voting...

    2. I'm not going to argue. Mob rule sucks and that's all there is to it. Even the Founders knew that it was "self-evident" that any "just power" of any government could derive ONLY from the "CONSENT of the governed." No consent, no morality. End of story.

Sure, voting's okay if everyone agrees to the submission. Do you?

    3. Outstanding - a concise argument that drives the point home to anyone, even a sheeple. This will be my last ballot box - I plan to vote just once more, but for a write-in candidate by the name of CONSENT REVOKED.

    4. Golly...I don't know if you came up with that dh, but SHAZZAM does that sound like a vote! If anything could EVER get me out to vote, that's the ONLY possibility.

Still won't probably, since it can be declared and with less travel time. Nice job! Whoever was first with that, just might get famous one of these elections.

  8. I believe not voting is about withdrawing your consent to be governed by a system that you cannot support. The lesser of two evils is not a viable option and we're still not going to vote our way out of this - that should be more than obvious by now.

  9. voting is being rendered pointless by 3 actions... the first being no difference between which color of bribed turncoat you select and second through the now widespread electronic rigging which openly alters votes... the third process is the complete and utter refusal to make all votes subject to re-count with paper ballots...

i think this 3rd area has serious flaws from the beginning... recounts, physical inspection of ballots and dual oversight should have been in place when voting first began in this country.... yes, there are other factors including who should or not be allowed to vote but I see these issues as paramount...

    1. When voting first began in this country they had no way of even imagining, let alone wrapping their heads around "electronic"voting, as far as they knew paper votes would always be able to be examined and counted and I'm sure they never imagined that would be an issue.

    2. I didn't mean to infer that our Founding Fathers should or would have a crystal ball... I was thinking more along the lines of defensive planning for the future - whatever that future may develop into a century later... since they were visionaries in the establishment of such a unique system, trying to better secure the voting process isn't such a stretch...

it's too late for that now... certain "changes" have to be made before voting can ever be considered a secure way of voicing one's choices for representation - at any level of gov't.

    3. "... at any level of gov't."

No joke. I always wonder why State Secessionists never bring that up.

Sadly, looks like those "changes" will have be decided by that ol' Candid Exchange of Views. Yet again. Idiots; what a waste.

  10. Hey Vernon...Im looking in the bitterroot valley...Its the banana belt of MT and has lots of water and a good growing season...It also has lots of like minded people to the Liberty movement...It also has a decent economy so people can still make a living until SHTF...I love the St Maries area but look at that as more of a bugout location one where if your not self employed you would be hard pressed to find a job...
