Regarding the Battle Buddies Poll at Right --->

For you folks who are alone & fook'd, or only able to field one or a few allies - if you are comfortable doing it, leave a comment here with your county and state.  You can do it anonymously, I don't care.

But I'd like to see if there is a pattern, and if the III Society can do anything to change the paradigm.

  3. Under all the most likely conditions, it's probably just me. If things really go sideways - mobs in the street or such WROL - then I'd have 2~4 allies to work with, but we're spread out enough that the "1 hour" requirement isn't very workable. Figure 2~4 hours to muster 3~5 men, here in eastern NC.

  16. I'm in South West Wisconsin. As far as I can tell there's nothing organized here. I've got about 5 to count on if we can gather in time, otherwise I'm prepared for my " Captain Samuel Whittemore" moment. I'm too old and wore out to run and gun, I'll be relying on my reflex moments to attrit as a contribution. If I'm as lucky as ole Capt. Sam was then yippie skippie.

  17. Sierra County New Mexico in a very out the way place (no more than 40 full time people here so do the percentage math). Easy to defend (one road in and out) with all the necessities of living (water, tillable land, live stock, etc.) but I could probably depend on maybe four others in a pinch.
This doesn't include the 'age' factor (late 60's here) but trained and armed .......... it would be a tough row to hoe if things go sideways.

    1. as this commenter has said, I'm just a bit north of him... likely not too many to rally to Green here... i'm more convinced there won't be a Green up here but merely a slow and steady ramping up of the apparatus already in place... in a state which has been demo/progressive for generations and a population less than most major cities(which population is being boosted by the importation of "refugees", all on the dole, naturally), the future looks quite bleak... our plan is to muster blood family and head for our b.o.p. and dig in... most i talk with who may belong to any kind of group seem less than serious or unconvinced when the topics turn hard... the hard questions have to be addressed now as well as the others..

but we press on and do what must be done

if you would like to make contact, my email is available... even a cold, stale cup of coffee with another like-minded is refreshing

We know it may likely be a fighting withdrawal from this kill box as we head north, but we're provisioned. And exfil under fire is something more than a few of us have experience with, if you catch my drift...

Got another Six who aren't as dedicated and just Prepare to protect the Home front and each other.... I'm sure that is a problem everywhere. All are aged between 25 and 38 yrs. But Progress is being made. Surely thought about heading towards ID for a while esp being in the Sawmill Industry for 15 years but might never get all that squared away in time...
