They Watch - We Watch...

LEO is putting drones in the air to follow people.

Okie Dokie.

Do we have people in this audience who have the technical expertise to put 1-3 drones into the air, on some sort of auto-pilot that will lock on a target and follow (perhaps a car with a light bar, as a fer-instance), sending video back to a ground station or live-streamed online?

If yes - email me and tell me how much cash we need to go operational in a test AO.

This. Ain't. No. Fuckin'. Game.

They train - we train.

They watch - we watch.

They touch...

  1. Funny, I have some of the hardware necessary for such a project in my shed...

Please assign me to the working group.

    1. Is it a difficult project from a technical standpoint?

    2. No its pretty simple to do...Problem is flight time and being able to stay operational for much longer than a half hr...I have had an idea rattling around in my head to take care of that problem just need some engineering questions answered and haven't had time to ask anyone yet that I trust...

  2. The "deterministic following" a.k.a. Autopilot is the challenge. If you admit a human pilot into the mix, this is a no-brainer. Budget is about $1500 for the first unit, and substantially less for subsequent ones.
