But now a days I can't afford ball ammo at .67 cents a round, except as a sniper round.

EasyCompanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02572859874764150477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236695365244926782.post-62244036952947785082015-03-18T06:36:20.403-07:002015-03-18T06:36:20.403-07:00I have read the article and found it fairly well w...I have read the article and found it fairly well written with the pros & cons represented. My thoughts are: go with what you are confident and capable with and of a caliber readily available. My wife and I both have AR platforms that I built for our wants & needs. She appreciates it's lighter weight & tiny recoil. I head for either of my Springfield Armory M1A's (MA9116 open sights, MA9226 w/Sheppard scope). I cannot fathom her humping 13+# or absorbing the recoil from one for a period of time with her physique. Between the two of us, we make a great team! We both carry Springfield Armory sidearms, XD 4" (me), XDs (her) in .45ACP. artemishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09046928965409337117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236695365244926782.post-82387696675960894522015-03-17T17:30:47.454-07:002015-03-17T17:30:47.454-07:00Play the odds. What is the most likely pistol round laying on the ground? What is the most likely rifle platform laying on the ground? What is the most likely pistol platform laying on the ground?

Forget your prejudices. Hard to do I know. I have mine as well. But I am a practical man and quite frankly it is what it is.

So, can you answer the questions? Without prejudice. And rooted in reality. Without all the macho bullshit that so often accompanies stuff like this.

For the record. I didn't read Max's article. I don't have to. And I don't care what he or anybody else says.
