First, there's going to be a slew us there, and the majority (if not all) of the adults will be armed with either a firearm or another weapon with which they are deadly. Nobody is going to screw. I'm sure others will be bringing dogs as well, so we should have a fair night-time early warning system. We will likely have to place an armed someone at the road that comes onto the III property, just to ensure it's not MSNBC driving into camp with cameras rolling. Worse case scenario for night-time, I have some tripwires/signal flares and "firecracker" tripwires we can place around perimeter approaches if need be. Any media type, and likely any local agitators, will take the path of least resistance trying to enter our property, and these would deter them. We could place those each night and take them down first thing in the a.m. (so kiddies and dogs don't trip them). If we do decide to have a night-time sentry, I'll bring along my night-vision gear and plenty of spare batteries.Fuzzy in AZnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4236695365244926782.post-64676347725338555442013-07-23T07:29:35.396-07:002013-07-23T07:29:35.396-07:00Fair enough. However, I humbly request that you delay issuing a III CQB patch to me at this time. I WILL proudly wear and display such a patch, but not until I feel I have truly earned it. I would not want to dishonor those who HAVE truly earned it. Next time, I will make sure that I have gotten plenty of rest and sufficient nourishment before the class; plus, I am much more suited for October weather than July weather, so that will definitely help me keep up my energy level all day.

Alan S.
